Moving Day

It's true! We moved! We truly couldn’t have done it without the immense help we got from everyone – THANK YOU! My brother somehow managed to convince his neighbor to tag along and help – every bit makes a difference! My poor Dad has been popping IB Profin as part of his breakfast routine this week! While unpacking at the house, our new neighbor stopped by and helped…just in time for our dresser, Ava’s dresser, Ava’s crib, the bookshelves, etc. Poor guy…haven’t seen him around since come to think of it… We rented a 27' truck and it was manual! I'm not sure how we're still alive, Chris is the man!

We aren’t staying at the new place yet. Our junk is there but we’re not. Hopefully after this weekend we can get moved in. It’s a busy weekend though – cousin’s wedding and niece’s first birthday! House is coming along nicely. We have a superb contractor there now who is working on the floor and backsplash. It’s looking quite lovely if I may say so myself.

Ava is terrific! What a big girl…She went out to dinner with her Mommy and Honey tonight and she was just the best little angel. It was her first time ordering off the kid’s menu too! Needless to say, she brought home a doggie bag. She’s getting brave when it comes to walking now. She puts everything on her wrist like a bracelet (rings, bags) and tries to put on everyone else’s’ shoes…even while wearing her own! She’s done with bottles already, only drinking out of a sippy cup! She’s picking up on sign language too! She barks at dogs…and horses…and reindeer…
