Bean Time!

Here are the Ava pics from last weekend. There are a couple cute little gazebos in the neighborhood so stopped by one Sunday afternoon and let her roam around. Unfortunately, I left the ISO setting on my camera way too high so the pics have a lot of noise :( I’m so bad about remembering to check that… She’s cute, regardless.

We had a much better week this week. The virus is gone!

We got a call last night from Pottery Barn that the rest of our dining room table (legs and chairs) came in and was ready for pick-up. We were able to bring the table top home a couple weeks ago when we ordered it. We headed to Richmond in 2 cars so we could pick everything up. On the way there I was brainstorming about what to cook up for our fist meal at our new dining room table! I was excited, to say the least. I cannot eat standing up…it’s getting old. Sure enough, when we got there we learned that not only do they NOT have our legs and chairs (no idea why they called us to tell us they did) but that they ordered espresso legs and chairs and our table top at home is mahogany. We wanted mahogany, we thought they ordered mahogany. Why they would order a mahogany table top and espresso legs and chairs is beyond me. We spent about an hour in the store with 4 employees trying to find a solution. They wanted us to just stick with the espresso because “it’s such a close match to the mahogany.” Um, no. Finally, they ordered the right parts and are having them delivered to the house so we don’t have to drive there again – they waived the shipping fee which is an insane amount anyway. Sounds good, except that they won’t be available until August. I was bummed. I’m over it now though. Sort of.

Everything else is going well! Our new entertainment stand or whatever you want to call it is due to arrive July 11th. Now we just need a fancy TV to put on it…
